We use a blend of high-grown, top-quality arabicas that are dense enough to stand up to this roast.

While the very dark roast reduces the body in the cup, the ebony-colored oily beans brew a pungent cup of coffee with pronounced smoky overtones. The result is a complex, intense cup of coffee.

This is not a coffee for the cautious.

Oily and Delicious

I bought this for a co-worker who wanted something rich and powerful for the morning. He was not disappointed in this batch of coffee. He hand grinds the coffee and the whole office smells like this coffee for most of the morning. He commented on how oily and delicious this coffee was and declared it some of the best coffee of his life. His 1lbs bag won't last long as other folks come hover around his desk as he is grinding.
