Origins
Papua New Guinea coffee is grown along the Wahgi River at elevations above 5,000 feet. The coffee trees grow amongst Albizzia berry trees, which lend the coffee beans their sweet, fruit-like essences and unique flavor. Although not certified organic, coffee farmers on most small Indonesian islands cannot afford and do not use chemical pesticides or fertilizers.
